Feedburner and your Ratified Rank
Visited 9602 timesYour blog’s number of subscribers weighs heavily in determining your Ratified.org rank. Many blogs that are listed on Ratified.org have their Feedburner feeds included, but their subscribers are not being counted. Why? Signing up for a Feedburner feed opens up a slew of options that you probably missed, such as something we call the Awareness API.
The Awareness API allows developers to build applications that can display, analyze and promote your feed’s traffic data outside of FeedBurner.
In other words, Ratified.org could not record your number of subscribers until you’ve opened up your feed’s Awareness API. It only takes one button click to activate it.
1. Log on to Feedburner and click on the appropriate feed.
2. Click on the Publicize tab.
3. On the left hand menu, click on Awareness API.
4. On the succeeding page, click Activate.
5. Done.
After that, see your rank skyrocket! (Let me know if it didn’t)
If you don’t have a Feedburner feed yet, sign up for one!
